The George Douglas White Jr. Legacy of A-One Scholarship was established to honor the life, values, and lasting impact of George “Duck” White—a devoted family man, skilled craftsman, entrepreneur, and servant leader. Known for his integrity, generosity, and dedication to both his community and church, George lived by the principle that true success is measured not only by one’s talents but by the willingness to uplift others.
This scholarship seeks to carry forward his legacy by supporting graduating high school seniors who demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to service. By investing in students who embody the same spirit of hard work and integrity that defined George’s life, the scholarship aims to empower the next generation to pursue their goals, build meaningful futures, and continue making a positive impact in their communities.
